Removing grout from a Sandstone fire hearth

I have a sandstone fire hearth. Some grout had dried onto it. How do I remove it. I am only talking about 9" along where we tiled around the gas fire. Hope you can help |

Best to pre-wet the stone with water first, then leave to dry for 15 minutes, then apply some Grout Clean Up http://www.tiledoctor.co.uk/AcidCleaner.html to the affected area, then scrub with a brush straight away, then rinse with water to dilute the Acid as soon as you are finished.
